Product description

St John’s Wort keeps away enemies, hexes and nasty spirits and faeries. Add to a protection mojo bag, a floor wash for protection to expel evil from the home. It banishes spells of evil and angry Spirits.

Magical Uses:

St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) linked with the Sun and Leo, Midsummer’s Day, or St. John’s Day.

St. John’s Wort can be added to the fires for Midsummer celebrations and used to make garlands.

The infused oil might be useful for an anointing oil for Midsummer rituals and exorcism. It’s bloody red colour also lends it well to death and rebirth rituals and celebrations of women’s mysteries.

It can also be burned during rituals of exorcism, especially of poltergeists. It's also used for divination, spells of romance and longevity

Medical & health uses:

St. John’s wort is a plant with yellow flowers that has been used in traditional European medicine as far back as the ancient Greeks. The name St. John’s wort apparently refers to John the Baptist, as the plant blooms around the time of the feast of St. John the Baptist in late June. Currently, St. John’s wort is promoted for depression, menopausal symptoms and more. * Please consult a doctor before you use any herbal products for medical reasons.

*Considered a poison and stimulant.

St John’s Wort can render birth control pills and similar forms of contraception useless. Do not rely on these methods of birth control if you are using St. John’s Wort!

St. John’s Wort should also not be taken by patients using Indinavir, a drug often given to AIDS patients, Cyclosporine, an immunosuppressive drug given to transplant patients, and Warfarin, an anticoagulant.

Side affects of St. John’s Wort may include dizziness, dry mouth, fatigue, gastrointestinal discomfort, skin rash and photo-sensitivity. When using St. John’s Wort, take extra care with sun protection.
